This site is designed to facilitate constructive, respectful dialog on some of the most contentious topics out there. It's intended to expand your perspective, perhaps even challenge your world view. To begin a conversation that can elevate us above the divisive, inflamed rhetoric that has us so divided right now.
United we Stand
United we stand, divided we fall. A phrase that's been in use for a couple thousand years yet remains both true and relevant. America is divided right now. There are forces both external and internal that seek to erode our power by dividing us and pitting us against each other.
Whether it's to gain power or fortune or to simply destabilize America, the end result is painfully similar: get us to fight amongst ourselves and believe that the other side is completely wrong. Dialog has devolved to shouting down an opponent, civility is thrown out the window.
But united, we are strong. Working toward a common goal, we can do amazing things. We won't all agree on the best way forward--there's a few hundred million perspectives to consider--but our end goals are not that different. We want to be safe in our homes and communities. We want to be prosperous both personally and as a nation. And we want to be free to live our lives in the ways we think are best.
Rather than fighting over who's right or coming from the mindset that there's only one right way, we need to start a dialog. To be able to express our opinions and listen to those of others.
Together we can come to an understanding. Together we can form a plan. Together we can make America the shining beacon of freedom we know it to be.
